Morpheus8 - radio frequency for skin tightening

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive and painless treatment, thanks to the light topical anesthetic applied to the areas to be treated, performed in the clinic and lasting approximately 40 minutes.

The Morpheus8 skin resurfacing device uses fractional micro-needle radiofrequency with different depth configurations, penetrating subdermal tissue up to 4 mm in facial areas and up to 7 mm in body areas. Thanks to the ability of radio waves to generate heat in contact with the skin, the treatment induces a beneficial and controlled thermal shock which stimulates the fibroblasts to produce a greater extracellular component, elastin and collagen.

Recovery times are minimal, between 1 and 3 days. After the procedure, you may experience some mild redness and swelling for up to a week after treatment. However, most patients find the downtime to be unnoticeable within the first 24 hours.

After treatment, direct sunlight should be avoided for the next 3-4 weeks and daily application of a good broad-spectrum sunscreen (at least SPF 30+) is recommended.

In the first few days after surgery, the presence of slight pain, swelling, redness and bruising in the treated area will be normal.

Since no incisions are necessary during the procedure, the treated tissues do not suffer trauma. This approach allows you to achieve splendid results without scars and with particularly rapid recovery times.

The results are noticeable just a few weeks after treatment, but the most evident results generally appear after approximately 3-6 months. 

Even if visible results are already achieved with just one treatment, to obtain optimal results we recommend at least 3 sessions, 2-3 weeks apart. 

The results are long-term, but annual maintenance treatments are recommended.

The skin will naturally appear brighter and smoother. To maintain the results of Morpheus8 for as long as possible, it is recommended to maintain a stable weight through a healthy and balanced diet, abstain from smoking, use sunscreen daily and adopt an adequate skin care routine.
A very effective combination is the combined use of Morpheus8 and FaceTite® (LINK). Both procedures treat the skin of the face and neck with radiofrequency energy, but by doing so at different levels, they can be complementary when used together.


Furthermore, the synergy with hyaluronic acid fillers or with Nanofat grafting is particularly recommended to promote tissue redensification.

It is a procedure with few complications and very rare, although possible: bruising and bleeding, infection.
