FaceTite non-surgical facelift

What is it about?
FaceTite® is a minimally invasive procedure capable of giving, in a single session, complete rejuvenation of the
face and neck with results comparable to those of surgical facelift in patients with the right indication.

FaceTite® is a cutting-edge skin tightening treatment that uses RFAL (radio frequency assisted lipolysis) technology to heat and remove any fat cells, while stimulating the body's natural production of collagen, with the result in obtaining a smoother, firmer and younger appearance.

It can be used to treat areas with deep wrinkles, skin with laxity and to restore firmness to the chin, cheeks, neck, eyes, mouth, eyebrows, forehead and jaw

FAQ
Why is the intervention used?
Ideal candidates are patients with mild to moderate signs of aging on the face and neck, who, looking for an alternative to surgical facelift, wish to undergo minimally invasive and outpatient surgery. It is suitable for eliminating skin laxity on areas of the face such as around the eyes, mouth, jaw, forehead, to recompact the skin and redefine the contours of the oval.

It is perfect for patients who do not have the correct indication for a face lift, patients who wish to redefine the jaw line without increasing its volume through fillers or who want to redefine the oval but who would not obtain an optimal result with traction threads.
What should be done before the surgery?
An initial consultation with the plastic surgeon will help to eliminate doubts and perplexities, to understand exactly how the surgery procedure will take place and what all the options and possibilities are suitable for your case. In order to achieve an optimal result, the possible minimal variations of the procedure will be evaluated, based on the anatomical characteristics and needs of the patient. The visit is not binding and gives the opportunity to receive all the information and satisfy any curiosity regarding the surgical and post-surgical program, the drugs to be taken, the analyzes and checks to be performed and the costs.
How is the FaceTite treatment performed?
The FaceTite® procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, under local anesthesia and lasts between one and two hours.

The equipment used consists of a 10 cm long handpiece with an extremely thin diameter of 1.3 mm which is inserted into the subcutaneous tissue through small holes on the sides of the face and under the chin. The device, exploiting the energy of RFAL technology (radiofrequency assisted lipolysis), releases heat into the tissues and, consequently, allows an improvement in skin tone thanks to the resulting contraction of the same.

Once the correct amount of energy and heating has been delivered to each treatment area, where necessary, gentle liposuction or fat extraction from the cheeks and neck is performed to complete the treatment.

As soon as the procedure is completed, small plasters are applied to the puncture points.

Stitches are generally not necessary.
What happens after the operation?
Discharge normally occurs the same day. In the following week you will need to wear a compression mask to reduce swelling following the procedure and to facilitate controlled retraction of the skin. The swelling, which is normal, begins to decrease over the next two to four weeks.
Typically, patients can return to their work and social lives the next day after FaceTite® treatment and resume sports activity after 15-30 days.
Drugs?
In the first few days after surgery, the presence of slight pain, swelling, redness and bruising in the treated area will be normal.

The surgeon will prescribe a course of antibiotics to prevent secondary infections.
The scars?
Since no incisions are necessary during the FaceTite® procedure, the treated tissues do not suffer trauma. This approach allows you to achieve splendid results without scars and with particularly rapid recovery times.
The results?
The result of the surgery depends on several factors, such as the healing capacity and compliance with the post-operative instructions given by the surgeon: abstain from sun exposure and avoid smoking.

The results of the procedure will be immediately visible but definitively noticeable after 3-6 months. The skin will appear smoother, with the contours of the face well defined and firm and the result obtained can last up to 5 years, even if the natural aging process leads to the result gradually fading over time. To maintain the results of FaceTite® for as long as possible, it is recommended to maintain a stable weight through a healthy and balanced diet, to abstain from smoking, to use good sun protection daily (at least SPF 30+) and to adopt a adequate skin care routine.

Combined with the Morpheu8 (LINK) treatment it is possible to obtain an even more important and long-lasting aesthetic result, thanks to the resulting improvement in the skin texture.
What are the possible risks?
It is an operation with few complications and very rare, although possible: bruising and bleeding, infection. The side effects are fewer than more invasive interventions: reduced edema, due to the absence of separation, and less ecchymosis or hematomas, thanks to the thermal coagulation effect given by the radiofrequency.

In some rare cases, small burns may occur which resolve in the following months without any results.
