Piombino

Dr. Luca Piombino is an internationally-accredited plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon

After graduating in Medicine from the Second University of Naples, he specialized with highest honors in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University Campus Bio-Medico in Rome and spent years in the United States perfecting his knowledge at some of the best universities in California.

In 2014 in Argentina, he continued his career path in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Facultad de Medicina - Hospital Interzonal de Agudos Eva Perón).

In 2015, he served as a Research Associate at the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of California Irvine working on body contouring in the post-bariatric patient.

He now lives in Rome, where he worked for 3 years at the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital devoting himself to one of his favorite disciplines, Pediatric Plastic Surgery, and taking a special interest in craniofacial surgery.

He currently continues to run a successful surgical practice dividing his time between Milan, Rome and Caserta and still continues to work throughout Europe: for several days a month he resides in Den Haag, Netherlands, where he holds the position of head of body contouring surgery at a prestigious clinic and collaborates continuously with several centers in the UK.

He also actively participates in international humanitarian surgical missions traveling extensively around the world providing treatments to trauma patients with oncological prognoses and congenital malformations.

He is an expert in laser treatments and in the use of the CO2 laser and the Nd:YAG Q switched laser.

Dr. Piombino has authored numerous scientific publications and is a speaker at national and international conferences. He is also the Scientific Director (as well as the creator) of the advanced training course for beauticians "Beauty Recovery Specialist" at the University Campus Bio-Medico, which reached its VI edition in 2018.

At the center of his work, he places a concept of global beauty and wellness while holding the position of CEO of Ripar Cosmetici, an important cosmetic company whose philosophy is to make high quality products and support medical aesthetic treatments.

Always attracted to the world of beauty, his passions are travel, photography, art, and antiques.
