Botulinum toxin is injected in very small doses through subcutaneous microinjections. It is an extremely safe, outpatient and totally painless treatment, lasting about 15 minutes.
Results are visible after about 5-6 days and last about 6 months. After the treatment you can return to your social and professional life, however, as your only precaution, you must avoid contact with heat sources for at least 2-3 days after treatment.
